If you read my last post, you probably have a massive pile of cat fur sitting in your bin—or blowing around your house like a very soft tumbleweed.

As a self-identified hoarder, I find it incredibly difficult to throw things away, including so-called “waste material” like cat fur. So, what do I do with the ever-growing mountain of fluff that seems to multiply by the second? I gift it back to my cats!

Cat fur, with a bit of warmth and rapid circular motions, can become a free and popular toy loved by all cats (of those sampled and my home and at the Shelter).

And honestly, even if your cat is the rare outlier who ignores it entirely, you’ve lost nothing. So why not give it a go? The worst-case scenario is that you can no longer justify spending money on overpriced cat toys.
